Halloween in Uranus

Is it Halloween Already? No, but we’re already starting the planning for Halloween in Uranus and we couldn’t be more excited! Last year, we saw more than 3,000 people and it was our biggest and most successful year yet, so you know we’re planning to top that again this year. Join us Thursday, October 31st, Halloween night in providing a safe, fun, and exciting Halloween experience for the entire family! This year, the event will be even bigger and better and we will see an even larger crowd than last year because we’ll be advertising it on television and in movie theaters around the region, as well as social media. The event is open to the public and we welcome children and their families to trick or treat with us!

If you’ve participated with us as vendor in the past, you know that we don’t charge for being here, unlike other places, we just ask that you provide your own candy, a game, or an activity for the thousands of kids and families that visit. This event is just about providing a free, safe, fun, experience for the community, but it does offer an opportunity to show who you are to an audience you might not otherwise meet and get some free advertising. However, Uranus is happy to help out vendors with letting you buy candy with us, in bulk, for cost, with our suppliers.

As a matter of fact, we’re opening up a few more spots for other businesses, individuals, and organizations to participate. There is still a limited number, but with the plan for this year, we believe we can accommodate even more businesses and organizations. You can decorate a trunk or you can bring a booth. Our plan includes space for both this year. However, the spots will go quickly, so you’ll need to lock yours in as early as possible. Those that have participated previously and do business with us have had the first chance at locking in a spot and now it’s your turn!

Those that participate get some perks that you can’t get anywhere else:

  • Mention on all of our extremely active and popular social media before and after the event with photos, video, etc.

  • Listed in The Uranus Examiner with photos after the event and the direct mailing to 50,000 people in the region (You may also be interested in buying advertising in the previous edition prior to the event, if so, email Tiffany Baker at tiffanyinuranus@gmail.com  before August 25 if you’re interested in buying an ad for that edition).

  • Mention on our websites

For the kids and families attending this year, we’re already planning on the following:

  • Petting zoo

  • Haunted house

  • Costume contest

  • Free hotdogs and popcorn

  • Bounce house

  • Carnival games

  • Face painting

(More to come as businesses and organizations confirm games and activities)
